Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

For you who doesn't know;
I was in Denmark last week, visiting my family. And while I was there I wanted to go to Sephora in Copenhagen.
And as always I get kind of overwhelmed and just start running in circles poking everything. It didn't help that they had their Midseason sale, so the store was PACKED. So if I was looking at something and turned my back for 2 sec and turned back again it was 15 people staring at the thing I wanted to look at, And I'm not one of those who speak up and say "excuse me, may I have a look aswell" or something similar. I shyly walk away to another stand. This kind of stressed out my mom, and my boyfriend a bit, because I'm always like that and I can't decide what to get since I want the whole store.

BUT, I somewhat caught a pink glimpse in my eyes and turned around and saw that they have a Too faced stand, they didn't have one last time I was there. And I saw their melted lipsticks (that were wrecked so I never got to see how they looked or feel) and I saw this palette.

This palette the whole makeup comunity have raved ao much about, how it smells so good, it''s so cute/pretty/perfect/awesome etc. And I've seen countless reviews of it, and have always wondered how much does it really smell, and is it really that good?
So I smelled it. But my nose was pretty fucked up after smelling countless perfumes and other things. Yes, I'm one of those who has to sniff everything, eyeshadows, foundations, lotions etc. Because I don't want a product that smells like balls on my face.. Just saying.
Aynway. It does smell like chocolate, Not like regular cocoa, since it has a bit more bitter smell compared to this, but it smells good!
So, yeah, I got the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette haha! or well, my boyfriend got it for me actually <3

I've only swatched it so far, so I haven't really gotten around to play with it yet.
I've got a new dog and a runny nose so I'm quite busy at the moment.

But here's some swatches for you:
(please ignore my scars, they show up more on camera, and I wasn't feeling trying to find a place on my body to swatch these)

Lftr: Gilded Ganache, White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Black Forest Truffle, Triple Fudge
Salted Caramel, Marzipan, Semi-Sweet, Strawberry Bon Bon, Candied violet, Amaretto

Hazelnut, Cremé Brulee, Haute Chocolate, Cherry Cordial, Champagne Truffle

The palette is available in several different stores online that I'm aware of:

The Body Shop All in one InstaBlur

Okay so. I got this interesting little thing in th Body Shop Calendar last year ( I know, I sucked at uppdating it, but life happened)
Anyway.
And I got quite surpriced, since I've heard alot of thing about this, that it's supposed to be really good and really keeps what it promises, and makeup goes on soooo much easier with this than with any other primer. And I've even seen people comparing this to Benefits Porefessional primer and saying that Instablur beats porefessional (!!!)
So of course I jumped a bit with joy when I saw that I got this.
But it is worth the hype? is it really better than Porefessional that is my go to primer?

well. I honestly haven't used it that much yet. But I can give you some of my impressions.

Let's look at the texture first shall we. it's grainy. Or well. not grainy like coarse and such. But it looks grainy compared to other primers I've used that's smooth. And  it is a bit on the dry side aswell, again compared to other primers I've used.
But it have that same silicone feel to it like the primers I've tried before, and this click I've got here is more than enough to the whole face, so a little goes along way, which can be good when it comes to such and expensive product.

And The Body Shop promises that this will moisurize you face aswell as minimize fine lines and get rid of extra shine. And since I am 25 and have been smoking half of my life I do have some fine lines here and there, as most people in my age do. So if it could really minimize that would be awesome, right?!

well. I did do a before and after picture of it the other day when I was applying my makeup, and as you can see it is actually doing it's job!
But how does it feel ones you actually put the foundation and such on top of it?
Well. I feel like it glides on, and slips of quite easily compared to Benefits Porefessional. I might actually do a real comparison between those two where I do half and half to see it side by side.
but clearly it is doing something! My pores aren't as petruding, and my nosewrinkles I get from squinting my eyes all day is barely noticible.

So it is worth the price?
Honestly? I can't answer that. I might buy this again, I might not. I fell in love with The Porefessional as soon as I put that thing on my face, so changing it up is not for me right now. (to quote Stewie Griffin; I don't like change D:)
But I'm definetly going to try this out more now that I actually do have it!

DMC Day 18 - Gloss

Glosses!
As you can se I'm not really a big lipgloss person. But I do use them from time to time :)

Urban Decay Lipjunkie Gloss Naked
A thick minty lilgloss that is super comfortable to wear on the lips. I really enjoy tjis color and usually wear it over Viva la divas Madonna lipstick. I can't seem to find this anywhere at the moment. And I hope that UD hasn't decided to get rid of these. Because I really enjoyed the formula on them!

Modelco Lipgloss Striptease
A light, soft (?) lipgloss that is sticky, but at the same time not? It has small glitterparticles in it and looks gorgeous on it's own, or ontop of another color.

Isadora Mega Wet Gloss Iced Pink
A really thick And sticky lipgloss. I rarely use this unless I'm doing a look and take the makeup right off. It's so sticky I'm amazed over that the lips isn't gled together D:
Otherwise it's has a nice baby pink color to it

Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Gloss Indian Rose
My Favorite. It doesn't feel like lipgloss, it feels like you have chapstick on. it's so soft and just exactly how I eant a gloss to feel like and the color is just so pretty! I usually have a thinner layer on. I'm definetly checking more colors out from this :)

Pierre Rene' Sweetberry Gloss A Clockwork Orange
First of all the naaaame <3
An orange gloss, it's really pretty, I jusy don't like how all the glitter partivles goes into the creases of the lips.it has a similiar feel to it like the Yves Rocher one. It's just a tad bit stickier, but not that it gets annoying

Gosh Light n' shine lipglaze 04

Glitter deluxe! This is super pretty layering over other lipsticks. it's sticky though, but managable. I rarely use this, because of al lthe glitter in it, but it is a really pretty color on it, and I think I'm going to check them out and see if they have more colors
